Usage Guidelines – Ozonated Olive Oil Wound Gauze

Directions for Use

  1. Clean the affected area.
  2. Preferably, spray a light layer of the ozonated glycerine mixture onto the area before placing the gauze.
  3. With clean hands, remove the ozonated olive oil gauze from its packaging.
  4. Apply the gauze directly to the affected area, making sure it covers the wound or skin concern completely.
  5. Secure the gauze with a bandage.
  6. Spray the ozonated glycerine mixture over the gauze three times a day to keep it moist and active.
  7. Change the dressing every 24 hours, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
  8. Dispose of used gauze properly after each application.

Caution

  • Always perform a patch test first: take a small piece of gauze and apply to the skin to check for sensitivity.
  • On very sensitive skin, ozonated olive oil gauze may cause an intense burning sensation. If this occurs, take a piece of plain gauze, soak it lightly in cold-pressed olive oil, then apply it to soothe the skin.

Preparation of ozonated glycerine spray mixture:

    • Mix 1 ml ozonated glycerine with 1-4 ml distilled water.
    • Use the mixture within three days. If any remains after this time, discard it.
    • A fresh mixture must be prepared every three days.
